How to Install IIS on Windows Vista

For those who are using Windows Vista, you can install IIS as below :

First : Go to Control Panel, then click on Programs. You will see a link for "Turn Windows features on or off".

Second : Checked the items you want, and clicked OK, you will see this dialog "Please wait while the features are configured. This might take several minutes."

Third : Now when you navigate in your browser to local host, you'll see the new default page...

When you request dynamic content such as an Active Server Pages (ASP) page, on a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 server that is running Internet Information Services (IIS), you may receive one of the following error messages:

Error message 1

HTTP Error 404 - File Not Found

Error message 2

HTTP Error 404- File or Directory not found

Cause???

By default, when IIS is installed on any version of the Windows Server 2003 family, IIS only serves static content (HTML)

Resolution ????????

Enable dynamic content when you really want to use it. By default, IIS disables dynamic content for security reasons.

To permit IIS to serve dynamic content, the administrator must unlock this content in the Web service extensions node in IIS Manager. To do this, the administrator must either enable a pre-existing Web service extension or add a new Web service extension.

Enable a Pre-existing Web Service Extension in IIS

To permit IIS to serve content that is already listed in the Web service extensions list, follow these steps:

1. Open IIS Manager, expand the master server node (that is, the Servername node), and then select the Web service extensions node.

2. In the right pane of IIS Manager, right-click the extension that you want to enable. In this example, this is Active Server Pages.

3. Click to select the Allow check box.

In question 2, i make 2 scene.

For scene 1

1) Create an interface as below :

2) Then, below the instruction, create box for input text and make a button like below.

3) Then, state the Text Option. The variable that can be used is "nama".

4) Then add dynamic text as the response for the statement.

5) Then, state the Text Option. The variable that can be used is "ucapan".

6) Next, active button that you make before then choose actions. Write the action as below :

on (release) { ucapan="Welcome " + nama+ newline+"Please answer all the question"+newline+"GoOd LuCk"; }

7) Then you can get the product like below.

8) Finish.....you can smile now...

Then for scene 2, same with scene 1...Put some question and make the answer...Good Luck..Try it first..if ypu can't do it..you can ask me for help...

p/s: The question is not the exactly like i did...this is the example of the example based on my experience in my practical test last year.

Hye..sorry too late to share with you about my experience about authoring preacrical test...Wait..remembering for a while....ok...last year...in my practical test, there are 2 question

Question 1 : Create 2 button that one can link to your motion tweening and another one can link to shape tweening. Create an example of motion tween and shape tween in each scene.

How to solve it????

1) Understand the question. in this question you need 3 scene which is:
Scene 1 : Have 2 button
Scene 2 : Motion Tweening
Scene 3 : Shape Tweening

2) For Scene 1 : First of all, make background and create 2 button. Name the button Motion Tweening and Shape Tweening. Then put an action.
i) At background layer, the action is : stop();
ii) While for Motion Tweening button the action is : on(release) { gotoAndPlay ("Motion Tweening",1); }
iii) For Shape Tweening button the action is : on(release) { gotoAndPlay ("Shape Tweening",1); }

3) Make a scene and name it as Motion Tweening. In this scene, make an example of Motion Tweening as i put in the last post before.

4) Make another scene and name it as Shape Tweening. In this scene, make an example of Shape Tweening.

5) Save it and try to run it.

It easy right...Try it before you go to your test... You can get as below

Flash...wow...."it's so hard to learn about it, the variable and many more....to move it...oh my God.."..it is my first experience when i learn it 2 years ago...now...i'm not the expert one..but i know to produce simple flash..so explore about it.

What is Flash?

Flash is a multimedia graphics program specially for use on the Web
Flash enables you to create interactive "movies" on the Web
Flash uses vector graphics, which means that the graphics can be scaled to any size without losing clarity/quality
Flash does not require programming skills and is easy to learn.
